Planning

Planning starts when the project initiates its life cycle. This may form the beginning of a project of all work. Besides, it may be the beginning of the life of the work project, it may be a project of re-engineering or consolidation, it may be the beginning of some new work, or it may be some addition to an existing work project. It is too soon to say whether or not it is completed today.

Control

A controlling system is necessary to assure that a project work proceeds as planned. This can be a batch control system, a customer shipment control system, a resulted timeliness control system, a measurement control system and all such date specific project control systems as are suitably selected.

The recognition of the results that are obtained during the control period is an essential step to achieving effective and efficient management. This realization may be at any stage in the life of the organization. It may be internal or external recognition. What is important is that results obtained in the control period cannot be allowed to slide because management need to be sufficiently assured of the quality of the results of the control period at the appropriate critical-to-time stage.

Direction

Direction as the term suggests directs the work that needs to be accomplished in a given time period. It directs the work towards those deliverables and other goals that are per prescription. It implements work in a proper and efficient way and ensures the forward progress of work.

Direction must be comprehensive, applicable, and operationally effective. It does not have to be specially tailor-made. This is because it can be positioned within the framework of the process that itself is workable.

Project implementation

Project implementation in this context refers to the successful fulfillment of the project’s objectives. It is the main management responsibility of each project team and program coordinator for a project when efforts put in to realize and accomplish the project objectives are sure to bring about specific effectiveness with the intended result.

In management, it is the basic project management. This relates from project initiation in control to the effective utilization of resources by ensuring their availability at the target project, proper allocation of these resources to the project within the allotted time period and effective communication with third party suppliers and customers.

Scope ( Premiere Objectives)

Scope statements give program managers the necessary guidance to define and quantify their objectives for this project. These are the primary activities to be done for the accomplishment of project objectives that are objective driven and risk less (positive return on investment).

Project objectives can be complicated if the project scope is not much. The project team must be sure of the targets and have a clear understanding of how it will be accomplished. The scope must be realistic so that projects that aretoo complicated can be accomplished in a timely and efficient manner and also have overall strategies that are well designed to deliver the desired benefits. Some projects require a large scope whilst other projects if more simple.

Objectives must be globally consistent and complemented by the action plans of the project team. The scope must be able to reflect the entire organization’s values, mission, policies, and practice. It must be clearly understood as related to the specific project and not the organization.

Stakeholder management

Stakeholders are groups that have some interests in the project. These groups operate in two basic functions. A stakeholder is keen on the success of changes that will take place and efforts that may be directed at improving the organization’s performance, the projects outcomes, or client satisfaction. It is a form of thinking that may require sub- Dentistry.

It has been stated earlier that this is the primary function of project management. This is accomplished once the project has started in order to help ensure general success within the organization. Interest groups include the financial stakeholders such as users of the products, suppliers of components and raw materials, public and community agencies, regulatory agencies, and others who have interest in the project and its work.

Many times it is the Stakeholders who provide substantial amounts of work that needs to be incorporated as closely as possible. They want to be assured that the product will meet their expectations. They may also want to see social and environmental problems, but they may also want to see political, social, and cultural improvements that are inherent to the journey.
